GEORGE WIDENER

GEORGE WIDENER

George Widener is one of the few true superstars of the self-taught world, a devoted fan of The Museum of Everything, he was once an outsider, but is now quite firmly an insider, his work selling for north of $50,000 with fans including Ed Ruscha and Marlene Dumas. Not bad for a kid with Aspergers’ Syndrome who once spent his days roaming the streets. We love George and when we asked him to create this limited edition print to benefit the museum, he did so in a jiffy and in his own inimitable style. These limited edition offset lithograph prints are running out as fast as Seb Coe in a 1970s 100 Metre Sprint. A limited edition of just 250, we strongly suggest you get your skates on for this total and utter bargain. Come on, at best it’s in the front room - at worst, you give it to your ex-wife. You can also buy it framed - plus money and UV glass. And it’s still cheaper than if you went to the framer yourself.
